4 Inches Off Mommy Belly in 4 Weeks

Post Baby Weight Loss Results

"So, I haven't weighed myself since I started the summer challenge (at 171)....today at work I got a lot of compliments about looking like I've lost some weight! So, I came home and weighed myself in the same spot, with the same scale, wearing the same clothes and .... I weigh 159 lbs!

I jumped around and got all giddy. Then I called Alison Liddic, my sister, and thanked her for supporting me and getting me to sign up to do the challenge. I'm so happy with my new lifestyle change and better eating habits.

Thanks Holly!"

"My name is Krista. I am 29 years old (30 in November) and a mother to Berlyn, 5 months.

When I found out that I was pregnant, I was worried about how much weight I would gain. Unfortunately, I started a little over weight when I got pregnant, so I was afraid of the ending weight.

I gained 56 pounds by the time I delivered.

I thought I would loose the 56 pounds pretty quickly after having Berlyn and getting back to walking and carrying her around.

At my 6 week visit for my doctor to take my staples out, I had lost 35 pounds! I thought, alright, I’m on a roll here. When I went for my next Pap exam, I had gained 10 pounds instead of continuing to loose.

I am an Esthetician (facials, make-up, chemical peels, waxing), and everyday getting up and getting ready for work, I just hated it and never wanted to leave and be seen in public b/c of the way I look.

I would look in my closet to get ready each day, and nothing fit and nothing looked good on my body! Between the nursing bra with the large straps, big floppy arms, belly rolls, and thick thighs; I was a nightmare to dress!

With my job, I need to look very good and very professional, and I felt like I wasn’t presenting myself in a professional matter b/c I was fat and nothing really looked good on me when I would go to work. In being overweight and hormonal, I found myself getting very over heated and sweating during services for my clients (very embarrassing).

In speaking with my sister over the phone, she encouraged me to do the Summer Transformation Challenge with her and we would help each other and hold one another accountable. I said, “you are already thin and look great! I’m really out of shape and will probably struggle with many of the exercises.”

After she asked me for the third time, I gave in and agreed b/c I was so miserable with my weight and the way I looked and felt.

I’m happy to say that this challenge and program has been exactly what I needed to get my metabolism moving again and show me what exercises will help tone me in all the right places.

Before, I used to get on the treadmill or elliptical and run and run and run. Now, I do intervals for about 14 minutes with a 2 minute warm up and cool down.

Before I would try to eat healthy and then binge eat or eat too much late at night. Now, I follow the meal plan to a T and love the way I feel and love the food I am eating. I have also learned a lot more about what to look for before I buy at the grocery store. What is the best kind of snack in-between meals, portion sizes, and ingredients to look out for.

This is week four for me on the Summer Transformation Challenge (and becoming a Fit Yummy Mummy).

I have lost 4” off my mommy belly!

2.5” off my bicep
1.5” off my hips, 1” off my butt
4.5” off my thigh
½” off my calves

I’m excited and thrilled to see these results on paper.

My goal for myself is to loose an inch a week off my belly (that seems to be the hardest place for me). I know I will continue to achieve results and continue to look and feel better if I maintain perseverance and dedication to this challenge and commitment I have made to myself and my sister.

I hope this encourages anyone who might be a little discouraged with where they are at in the challenge.

I know that there are some people who are flying by me and have lost more than me, but I am thrilled with where I am at in this challenge so far.

So, try not to focus on other people, but focus on yourself and making sure you are eating right, drinking at least 64 oz. of water a day, and doing your intervals and exercises.

I would gladly help anyone who has any questions or would like to chat about their experiences. Best of luck to everyone as we continue on in this challenge together."
