Trudee lost 3 inches off her Mommy Belly

Results in just 5 weeks!

I have to admit, I was very skeptical of another fad internet program....

"Wow, wow, wow!

Fit Yummy Mummy is amazing!

I cheated and measured my baby pooch and I lost 3 inches or 10%!!!

I have to admit, I was very skeptical of another fad internet program, but I am now 100% convinced that FYM is a dream come true.

If you've been following me, I have a crazy life. I'm a single mom with two active kids and a more than full time stressful job. I signed up for Fit Yummy Mummy because I liked everything Holly said and whatever I was doing in the past just wasn't working (which was hour long workouts, and dieting so that I was weak with no energy at all).

I knew I needed something that supported healthy eating (real food) and exercise.

I'd been stuck for over 9 years, with the remainder of my belly pooch. With other programs, I would see some success but the program wouldn't be something that fit into my life (time, money or energy) and I could manage do it for a few weeks and then I'd quit and gain the weight back (I've started and stopped WW over 4 times). In fact, my kids and boyfriend were to the point that they would say "please don't diet, because you turn into such a bitchy monster".

So I've been plugging away at Fit Yummy Mummy for 5 weeks now, I'm so far from perfect and I have bad days/weeks, but I'm trying and everyones support has been so amazing. THANK YOU, I wouldn't still be here without you.

Here's how I've magically transformed (magically because it just happened along the way):

* Focus on how you feel, not the scale
(Holly herself and many other supporters).
I was checking the scale and bummed when I didn't see a change in that number. Now, I tell myself wow these shorts are really loose and then one day I dug out one of my skinny shorts that never fit and they fit great. My boyfriend also remarks that I'm looking great. I also focus on how I feel when I do my workouts The workouts melt away my stress once I start, even if I'm not in the mood. I added 25 ft to my hill intervals :) and it feels great. I always feel energized after my workouts.

* You don't have to be perfect

(Holly again and all the support).
I really did cry because I couldn't keep up with my FYM workouts while traveling. It was a demanding trip, up at 6am, bed at 11pm with kids and grandma. Then I had another business travel week where I could only manage to do the travel workout (which is awesome) and made bad food choices and drank way too much. Holly sent me a personal email and said "That's okay".

* Blog, blog, blog!
The support out there is amazing and sometimes it helps just to get your thoughts out there. I have bad days and good days. Sometimes life overwhelms me and I get down. Thank you everyone for keeping me going and making me want to log in :)

* Do the workouts!

I think that's what has given me such amazing results. I have to admit, I cheat on my diet. Sometimes there's a couple of nights that I have beer, and it's two, instead of one. Sometimes I eat the pasta salad. Sometimes I eat the huge cookie. I think the workouts have revved my metabolism because I'm still seeing results. Oh and push yourself, if you can do a superset and you're not out of breath, you're doing it wrong. Same for intervals.

I guess I could go on and on. I'm just so excited."
