You have to get honest with yourself here and ask, do such miraculous results really come in a bottle? Is there an really easy way out?

~ Easier than choosing to eat supportive foods over the dead, overly processed crap?

~ Easier than scheduling the time needed to challenge your body with effective exercise over sitting all day long?

~ Easier than making excuses and blaming external situations over taking responsibility for your daily thoughts and actions?

Sorry, no matter how much we wish, hope and pray - there is so quick and easy short cut when it comes to boosting our metabolism and losing the stubborn fat.

Especially when it comes to fat burners and the pills that promise super fast fat loss. Sure, we can be easily mislead to believe that such solutions exist. We see the before and after pictures and wonder why it can't produce the same results for us.

Well first of all, research flat out continues to show that these products are ineffective. In fact, a recent scientific review paper in the prestigious American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, concluded there is no substantial evidence that any fat loss products evaluated (which was most on the market) are effective. And those that showed any evidence, produced effects that are barely worth the money we pour into the companies pockets.

Sure, a combination of appetite suppressants, stimulants, compounds that make your stomach feel "full," and diuretics may initially result in "weight loss" but
taking a pill does not magically fix the underlying reasons why you gained weight in the first place. You did not gain weight overnight, why would taking a pill make all the reasons why you gained weight disappear?

Then you have to ask, how long do you expect to take these pills?
Have you considered the cost involved?
The negative side effects?

Even more intriguing....What will happen when you stop taking the pill? Especially the fat burners that contain an appetite suppressant.

Here are the facts:
+ Not eating will only will slow your metabolism.
+ Not exercising - or choosing an ineffective method to exercise - will only cause you to lose your lean muscle which will in turn cause you to end up with an even slower metabolism.

Just like there is no Easy Button to get through the daily toils of life, there are no short cuts when it comes to the steps you must take to effectively boost your metabolism and burn more fat.

I was just looking through a few profiles from the Kentucky area and I'm very impressed by your blog. I'm a former personal trainer and fitness is a essential part of my life, next time you are in Louisville you should drop by the new Urban Active gym next to Whole Foods. It's amazing.
